Salted Caramel Sauce

How to Make the Best Salted Caramel Sauce (Easy recipe!)



2 cups granulated sugar 

¾ cups unsalted butter 

1 cup heavy cream 

1 tsp salt


  1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat sugar over medium heat whisking constantly to dissolve sugar.
  2. You will get amber-colored liquid. Be careful not to burn it. 
  3. Immediately add the butter. 
  4. Stir until the butter is completely melted. 
  5. Slowly add in the heavy cream while stirring. 
  6. Boil for one minute. 
  7. Remove from the heat. 
  8. Stir in the salt. 
  9. Let cool slightly, then transfer to a sterilized jars. 
  10. Seal the jars. 
  11. Store in the refrigerator.
  12. When ready to use, simply reheat in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
