Ingredients

1 ½ cups ketchup

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

½ cup apple cider vinegar

2 garlic cloves, minced

½ cup brown sugar

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp salt or to taste

½ tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp mustard powder

2 tsp paprika

34 pounds baby back pork ribs

½ cup apple cider or beef broth

Instructions

  1. In the Instant pot add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, mustard powder, paprika and apple cider.
  2. Mix to combine.
  3. Remove the membrane from the ribs.
  4. Cut slab of ribs in half if it’s too big for your Instant Pot.
  5. Place the ribs into the Instant Pot and toss to coat.
  6. Close and seal the Instant pot.
  7. Turn the venting knob to SEALING.
  8. Press the PRESSURE COOK button and check to make sure the pressure level shows as “High” on the display.
  9. Adjust the timer to 25 minutes.
  10. When finished cooking, release pressure naturally according to manufacturer’s directions.
  11. Open the lid.
  12. Remove the ribs from the Instant pot and place on a baking sheet.
  13. Press the SAUTE button on the Instant pot.
  14. Cook the sauce, stirring frequently, until the liquid is thick and glazy.
  15. Press the CANCEL button.
  16. Taste and add more black pepper or salt if necessary.
  17. Preheat oven to broil.
  18. Brush each piece with sauce and place under the broiler until sauce is bubbly and starting to brown, about 5-10 minutes.
  19. Serve with reaming BBQ sauce.
