How to Make the Best Cranberry Hibiscus Simple Syrup



1 cup water 

1 cup sugar or honey 

1 cup frozen or fresh cranberries 

2 oz dried hibiscus flowers


  1. Add the sweetener, cranberries and water to a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat. 
  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. 
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat.
  5. Add the hibiscus flowers and steep for 30 minutes.
  6. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve and pour into a sterilized bottle.
  7. Store in the refrigerator.
