How to Store Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods for Later
If you want your chocolate covered pretzel rods to stay fresh and crisp, store them in the refrigerator. Chocolate can actually go stale if it’s stored at room temperature for too long, so keeping it in the fridge will help to prolong its shelf life.
Just be sure to wrap the pretzels tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil so they don’t absorb any unwanted flavors from the fridge.
You can also store them in the freezer for up to 2 to 3 months. I actually don’t mind storing them in the freezer because they get extra crisp. You really can’t go wrong either way.
